Feeding a Rottweiler Puppy

When feeding a Rottweiler puppy we need to know the following:

  • what to feed
  • when to feed
  • amount to feed

What’s the Best Dry Puppy Food?

To qualify, the food must meet AAFCO nutritional profiles for either all life stages or growth.

We look for food that contains:

  • No controversial chemical preservatives
  • No anonymous meat ingredients
  • No artificial coloring agents
  • No generic animal fats
  • Substantial amounts of meat-based protein
  • Reasonable fat-to-protein ratios
  • Modest carbohydrate content

At Vom Keiser Wappen we feed 4 Health Puppy Food with a few tablespoons of fresh yogurt mixed in. We recommend looking to manufacturer suggested serving size. For a Rottweiler puppy aged 6-12 weeks, weighing 10-20 lbs this is 2-1/4 to 3-1/2 cups split into 2 or 3 meals, depending on the owners schedule.
